So now that gay marriage is legal in all 50 states, what do you think? For it? Against it? Thoughts.

It's only "legal" at the federal level; the states still have their own laws on the subject.

I think it's the right decision by the government to basically remove themselves from saying what is or is not acceptable in a marriage. I don't like it but from a law perspective it's the right thing. Who is the government to say who I can or cannot marry?

I do not think that we can use laws to push Christian values on everyone. The thing is we are only talking about around 1% of the U.S. population here; and their divorce rate is about the same as the rest of the population.

I say have at it, just wish they did not call it marriage.

Didn't it used to be called civil union or something like that? I don't like that they call it marriage either.

Something like that, I stopped paying attention when CA's Prop 8 got shot down in the court system.
