My laptop is 7 years old, my desktop is 6...  Once I graduated college I basically just use my computer at work and phone/ipad at home.  I only get on my desktop when I need it for something I can't do well on my phone.  How the world has changed.

When I came up here for college I bought this cheap little notebook thing called "Eee" and it barely worked, even new out of the box. I didn't end up using it for anything other than music & photo storage for my phone and then it died just outside of its 1-year warranty period.

My wife has 2 but you have to know about them to see them.

I have a total of 7, but one has about 60 hours put into it so far and runs from top of the ribs to my toes.

It really helps that I now have a friend who does them as a hobby, and has never charged me anything... I wouldn't have that many if I was still shelling out $100/hour to get them done in a parlor
